Arnold Schwarzenegger was born on July 30, 1947, to Gustav and Aurelia in Steiermark, located in southeastern Austria. He did not have a good relationship with his father, a police chief who was heavily addicted to alcohol. At the age of 18, he joined the Austrian army to fulfill his military service and gained attention by winning a bodybuilding competition during these years. In his youth, he achieved many successes with his physique and won the Mr. Universe competition twice.
In 1968, he moved to the USA to advance his career, but initially struggled due to his poor English. In 1982, he gained worldwide fame by starring in the movie “Conan,” directed by John Milius. Two years later, he reached the peak of his career by playing the Terminator character in the film released in our country as “The Terminator.” After leaving a mark on the 80s, Arnold Schwarzenegger was elected governor of California in 2003 and had a romantic relationship with the famous journalist Maria Shriver for a while.
