Brief Biography
In her childhood, her dream was to become a nurse. However, during her high school years, as she participated in theater plays, she gave up on that dream and wanted to become an actress. She took part in many high school theater productions as an amateur. Her first role was in the television series “Get Real,” where she played the character Meghan Green. Although this was her first acting experience, she appeared in 22 episodes of the series. Later, in 2001, she starred in her first movie, “The Princess Diaries.” The film broke box office records, and it didn’t take long for Anne Hathaway to become known worldwide.
Until 2005, the famous actress mostly appeared in family and children-oriented films, but from this date onwards, she began taking roles in more serious films. She particularly caught the attention of directors with her performance in the 2008 film “Rachel Getting Married.” Hathaway got engaged to Adam Shulman in 2011 and most recently co-starred with the famous actor Matthew McConaughey in the film “Interstellar” in 2014.
